reliable, up-to-date, and free nursing journals ?????

Does anyone know how to get up-to-date information (i.e. patient education information, ceu's, etc.) or free nursing journals? I don't feel like spending my entire salary on continuing education.

If you type Nursing CEU's into any browser, you'll come up with a bunch of sites. MEDCEU offers a free course, and Medscape offers interesting, free CEU's for medical personnel.

GlaxoWellcome--now GlaxoSmithKline--has had some good CE's on their site. Right now, they're revising the site, but have some of the old offerings available. Go to and click on 'Helix’.
